Elections are around the corner, and I will be voting for
A face appeared in your mind, didn't it?
No matter who stands from our constituency, we tend to vote for that "face." We tend to feel that what makes the party credible is that face. The giant banners in our city and the facilities provided by that party have that face staring back at us.
In today's marketing lesson, I understood how one consistent brand face can bring in many more customers and ensure some credibility along the way.
Is it the most essential thing? Not more than quality.
Does it help in damage control? Majorly.
Most of the PR strategies revolve around this face. But how does it help with the image?
🌸 Just like these big political parties, brands have some ideologies and a base of principles that people can relate to. This face portrays that ideology.
🌸 The area of attention decreases, making it easier for people to focus better.
Having said that, there are also cons to having a face for people to idolize. One mistake from this person can lead to a terrible image of the brand even when their quality remains the same. Not only this, but the brand can also face some major issues if that face is used illegally or unethically.
PS: Don't dread the elections. Fulfill your duty this year and vote!
