The Independent’s US expansion

We are pleased to be able to demonstrate our commitment to expansion in the US by appointing Philip Thomas to the newly created role of US West Coast editor. He’ll be heading up the team from LA, working across a range of stories as we build our US coverage and continue the phenomenal success we’ve had since the launch of Independent US. Jenna Amatulli, who joins from Jezebel, will take up Philip’s previous role as executive editor in New York.

How Chantecaille represents both beauty and conservation

Here at The Independent, we love working with brands where Making Change Happen is part of their DNA too. Luxury beauty brand Chantecaille’s recent collaboration with Yellowstone National Park is exactly this.
