We are welcoming you back from the bank holiday weekend with an array of exciting new announcements including our continued commitment to the LGBTQ+ community via our Pride partnerships, a dynamic new relationship with Latitude festival and a one week reminder about all things Independent at The Great Escape.
Last week, The Independent announced its Pride partnerships for 2025, reaffirming its commitment to championing the LGBTQ+ community, equality and diversity in all its work, this Pride Month and every day.
For the fourth year running, The Independent is returning as an official media partner of Pride in London joining the million+ people who will take to the streets of London on 5 July.Â
The Independent is also the exclusive national news partner for Manchester Pride 2025, which takes place from 15 to 25 August. For the first time, The Independent will join the crowds for the parade in Manchester, marching in celebration of LGBTQ+ accomplishments and in protest at the equality not yet achieved.

The Independent today reveals its inaugural content partnership with Latitude for 2025, bringing exclusive discussions to festival fans in the lead up to the event and live on stage in Suffolk.
Throughout June and into July, weekly interviews will be broadcast as Instagram Live events, with The Independent’s journalists in conversation with some of the brilliant musicians, thinkers and comedians on the Latitude bill. The evening Instagram Lives, available to watch on both The Independent and Latitude’s channels, will allow festival fans who are eagerly awaiting the weekend to get to know more about what they can expect, whilst learning about some of the performers which make Latitude such a special event. All guests will be announced in the coming weeks.
