The nominees have been announced for this year’s Travel Marketing Awards and The Independent is proud to have been nominated in three categories.
This achievement reflects the publication’s innovation in multimedia travel content, as well as its legacy and hard-earned trust in travel journalism.
The Independent is up for Broadcast Programme of the Year (Video) for Simon Calder’s outstanding TravelSmart episode in collaboration with Bradenton-Anna Maria Island, as well as two awards which celebrate the strength of the section and team as a whole, Consumer Publication of the Year (Online) and National Broadsheet Print and Digital Section of the Year.
