The Independent today announces that it has partnered with the NSPCC’s Monday Movie Club in support of their service, Childline. The partnership continues The Independent’s drive to work with and support organisations that make change happen.

The first screening which The Independent will be partnering with will take place on Tuesday 2nd August in Soho, London and will feature an exclusive preview of Bullet Train, starring Brad Pitt, Karen Fukuhara and Sandra Bullock, courtesy of Sony Pictures.

This weekend saw the triumphant return of Standon Calling in Hertfordshire and The Independent was thrilled to have partnered with the festival once again. Another phenomenal headline roster included the likes of Anne Marie, Loyle Carner and Primal Scream. And as the festival’s official media partner, The Independent hosted the Laundry Meadows stage, featuring eclectic performances from Sleaford Mods, Kojey Radical, Self Esteem, Bimini and many more.

The Independent, with 22.3 million monthly unique visitors, was the largest digital quality news brand* in June according to the latest monthly data from Ipsos IRIS; 1.86 million visitors above the second biggest. The Independent increased its online audience by around +7% month-on-month – the equal top performer in terms of monthly growth. Additionally, The Independent recorded a +19% year-on-year rise in online audience.
